Hey all,

I am making a Sour Patch Kids cake in a couple of weeks, but I can't for the life of me figure out the logistics for the box flaps in my mind. How would I make the top box flap stand up at an angle? I know I could use fondant or modeling chocolate to make the flap itself, but I am at a loss on how to get it to stay up as if the box is open. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi STCF! I have been searching for a while to figure out how to add flaps to a box - I'm making an open corrugated shipping box cake and can't immediately figure it out. What did you end up doing? I am thinking of using foam core board and covering it with fondant, but I don't want it to be too heavy. Hope it worked out for you!
