Can you stencil on Fondant before you place it on cake? It's a Gucci pattern

Technically, yes, but you'd risk smudging, stretching, marring, etc. If you're covering a whole layer (or purse) I personally would do it after. if you're just putting a small piece of stenciled fondant on a cake, you could stencil before applying.
