I am making a friend a 3 tier wedding cake using the WASC cake recipe with buttercream icing. She wants the bottom and top layers to have a lemon flavor but a different filling for the middle layer. What are your suggestions for flavors that will compliment the lemon.

Why not chocolate? Not to compliment the lemon, but to give a different choice altogether.
