Hi, what would be the best way to attach a gumpaste mask ( like a Venetian carnival mask) to the top of a cake?
Thanks
I would make a thin white chocolate base (plate) then dip the mask edge in and attach. If it is larger you can use those mini portrait holder stands.
How about attaching dowels to the back of the mask so you can insert them into the cake to hold up the mask.
Thanks for the advice. I think I will try both the chocolate and the dowels. I never thought about the portrait holder. That sounds interesting.
