How do I get my color flow icing to be shiny? It seems to be more matte.
You could try adding a bit of light corn syrup to your icing. I like to place my wet cookies in front of a fan, that helps give the cookies a nice shiny appearance. I got both of these tips from Sweet Sugarbelle. She is an amazing cookie designer.

If you dry the surface under a gooseneck lamp [40-60 watt bulb], it will be very shiny.
