Help!!! Too Many Things To Incorporate Into One Cake!
Decorating By SandraDee73 Updated 2 Jul 2015 , 11:35am by SandraDee73
I have a client who is looking for a 60th birthday cake to feed 25-30 people. She provided me with a list of elements to incorporate into the design. There's so many I am completely overwhelmed with where to start! Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Softball
Bowling
Golf
Her beloved beagle Lucy
Retired School bus driver
Library book – she is a volunteer for the local library
Meals on Wheels
She’s a Mets fan
Maybe sneakers, bowling shoes and golf shoes would be neat around the outer edge
Great neighbor – takes care of the kids and animals
Maybe let her kmow that iit's too many options for the size of the cake. And it will look to cluttered. If she could pick a couple thst sare important to be on there.

A scrapbook cake! Intriguing idea @craftybanana
I did a 40th birthday cake with a lot of elements. Maybe something like this? http://www.cakecentral.com/gallery/i/3339510/40th-birthday-cake
You could make a single tier, put black silhouettes of a golfer, a bowler etc around the sides and top maybe green piped grass with a golf car driven by the bus driver and the neighbour and the dog as fondant figurines, passing a road sign written library. ..
But it's quite overloaded, you are right. I would focus one one or max 2 themes.
I really like the scrapbook idea! And Pastrybaglady....that cake is another great option too! It came out lovely!
I love the look of silhouettes...very classy.
Thanks for the ideas!
