Hi Fellow Cakers!

Need your advice.

I have several mostly full bottles of sugar pearls.  There are no expiration dates on them, no lot stamps, no use by dates anywhere on these bottles?

I know they are at least 3 years old.  My question, do they expire?  Can someone get sick from eating these?

Can’t call the mfg, because as I mentioned no lot dates anywhere???

Help!  =)

I think those are just hard sugar, so they'd be fine after years. Nobody's going to get sick from eating them unless they swallow them whole and they have IBS :/

hi u still can ask the mfc for their expiry date in general and calculate it urself. i have sugar pearls for a much longer time than that maybe 5 yrs and i still use them even for kids and no one got sick in any way. sugar is in itself a very strong preserve and crystals don't change over time. and  pearls are mostly used just for decoration and i don't think anyone will eat too many of them. but it's still safer to ask the co. for their expiry date for this particular product and calculate it urself.
