Instead of cupcakes, at a very elegant bday party, we want to serve mini square cakes. The only place I have been able to find them is in the UK (online)! I checked Wilton, Michael's, and a few other places. I am getting frustrated already! Can u help me out on this one? Thanx in advance! ![]()
Here you go....I found this.

I still think it would be easier to cut them out! ![]()
i would definately get square cutters and cut from sheet cakes it goes much faster. you wont have to wait for all the little cakes to cool before assemblying
yes, there is a pan from england that make small squares of cakes, but it must be the most expensive cake pan i have ever seen. Now there is a pan on ebay called the educated pan for making numbers, it has these small squares that you use to block off areas so you can make number or letter cakes. this may work, i have been meaning to ask if anyone has it for this very purpose. just search educated cake pan on ebay there are several.
I think you would be better off baking sheet cakes in a pan with straight sides, cut them with square cutters. You still have to deal with crumbs on the exposed cut sides, but it would be faster than having to bake individual cakes and the sides and corners would be straight and square.
