I used to shop at Nancy's Fancy's in Santa Rosa, California years ago and so did my Mother. It was a great shop loaded with everything needed for cake decorating and sugar art.

I have never seen that website and I thought I had seen them all! Her cookies are like nothing else I've ever seen. Very original. She takes just plain circle or square cookie cutters and creates little works of art on them. Gosh she's good. I will have to use her for inspiration. I've always thought of myself as creative but when it comes to cookies - sometime I draw a big fat blank!

It says in the press articles that the bakery she used to work for sold her cookies for $1.95-$9.95 each. I don't know if she charges more now she's independent, but I have to agree that all those cookies are just outstanding & beautiful!
Truly amazing - my eyes popped out of my head when I saw her business card cookie!! Not only are her designs totally unique and well executed, but I can't believe how many tiny royal icing details she does and how realistic they look!!
I read the article about her also and I couldn't believe she only charges 1.95 - 9.95 (esp. on the East Coast). My first instincts told me they'd be more like $20 plus a design charge. I guess she's a natural at it - the article said she was an illustrator for 20 years. I am definitely envious - wish I could draw like that. Thank you for sharing the link!!

For the record, my pricing is different -- higher -- than mentioned in the Washington Post article, which is a bit old now and was written when I worked at a bakery, not for myself.

all i can say is OMG.your work is just beautiful. your cookie's are so creative! i love the whimsy. you take it to a new level...art. do you use edible markers for some of the details?
