Hi, any advise on how to make these sugar birds fly? I assume there is wire from the cake into the birds and strategically hidden by the ribbon. Any thoughts? Thank you!

i would do that with a foam bird because of the balancing act there -- using fondant is possible but naw i'd use foam for that the weight to gravity issue -- yes exactly as you say cleverly concealed wires/support --
when you devise your plan -- don't think of it as a cake with birdies hovering -- think of it as a stand with birdies successfully hovering in air then you add the cake into the equation -- see what i mean
