When covering a cake in White Chocolate modeling clay do I need to put a crumb coat on? Also, do I need to only let the chocolate set for a half an hour before I knead and cover my cake or do i need to let it sit overnight?

I read in another post to only let it rest about 30 to 45 mins and I´m guessing you should put a layer of BC under the chocolate, for it to work as "glue". HTH and let us know how it turns out... I´ve never used candy clay to cover cakes.

So here is my game plan.... I baked the 6"X3 pan (came out GREAT-perfect height too) I am going to cram it in but I read that it needs to sit for about 2 hours, I am going to make the chocolate in the morning, fill the cake, cover with BC then cover with chocolate before we meet tomorrow afternoon. The recipe seems easy enough for the Chocolate and the Cheesecake Mousse filling so im not stressing this time at all. I'll post the pics tomorrow evening!
