What tip do you use to make the pine tree needles? I'm making a cake right now for our neighbors, I started to use the leaf tip but it looks more like a palm tree!!! Or maybe I'm doing it wrong? TIA!!

I hate to tell you this because it's a lot of work, but I used the #2 tip. Look on Wilton .com cause I saw pine needles on a cake in one of my yearbooks.

Got any dry spinach vermicelli? Or a sprig of rosemary? Both technically edible (OK, you wouldn't really eat them) but they could be made to look sorta pine tree...

I used the grass tip for mine. I don't know if you have that or not though. Are you doing a flat tree or a stand up one? I think if it's a stand up one the leaf tip would probably look fine once you get it all done.

You might try the grass tip as it has many openings and would be easier then the #2 tip.

Thanks guys, I ended up just using the leaf tip and it looked alright. I didn't even think of using my grass tip! I would've used that! Oh well, next time!! Thanks again!
