What is the difference between 'fake cakes' and cake dummies? I've seen one site that says 'fake cakes' and they are made of polyfoam, and says to cover with saran wrap. The other site says cake dummies and they are made of polystyrene, and says you can wash and then reuse. I want these for practicing and really don't want to go to all the trouble of covering them. I read a post somewhere that talked about just washing off the dummies. I guess what I am asking is: is there a true difference in these 2 products? I'm guessing there is, but don't want to assume the obvious.

TIA
Heidi
