the recipe of MMF I've been using. LOL She said she just loves "that stuff" LOL Cakes is my newest hobby. Besides my own kids my SIL has been asking me to make her kids birthday cakes and my mom just thinks the cakes are so cool & good to eat. She said she saw the "cake man" (Duff from Ace of Cakes) She said she recorded The View w/ Duff for me to see. She wants to learn some of the cool decorating techniques she said. So I gave her the recipe and she is so funny, calling me every few minutes asking me questions. She told me she wants to make a cake w/ heart on it and in the middle of the cake she wants to put a vase of flowers...all made from fondant. Awwww she is 63 and I think this is so good for her....her husband (my step father) died back in '89 and she has been working her fingers to the bone ever since and I think a hobby is what she needs. She needs to slow down and have fun in life and baking & decorating cakes is so fun and very rewarding when you see peoples expressions and then hear "oh this not only looks good but is good to eat too." I hope she enjoys baking and decorating her cake today!!!
Good for her, sounds like you helped her find agreay hobby!What's even better, she can actually 'enjoy' all her creations!
