HI everyone... I may be attempting a 3d helmet cake next week...
Just wondering how you would achieve this gold color with buttercream... with the time I have I will only have access to Wilton colors...

Thanks so much!!

I always have problem getting gold..... I have started with Golden yellow and added a touch of brown and achieved it, I have used an orange color and lightened it a bit with white and added brown and gotten it.... lots of ways, but of course it looks like you would want to use shimmer dust once you have the color you want...and brown and yellow will make gold, you just have to lighten sometimes to get just the right shade.... I wish I had a sure way of doing it.. do they have "gold" gel???? I never paid attention.
