Bake in a sheet pan, cut with 4" cookie cutter.
45 cakes 4 inches round and 4 inches tall - Correct?
If that is correct, that is alot of work... don't go low on the price... especially depending on how the decoration is supposed to be...
Others on here have made the suggestion, and I agree with them, cut the circles/squares out of sheet cakes... Faster and easier baking...
I made 120 3" cakes for a corporate holiday party, and I did the aforementioned stamp-the-rounds-out-of-a-sheet and I had a ton of cake scraps. Bags full. After that, I got small pans. MUCH easier, and it made the cakes easier to work with.
I got my pans here: http://cooksdream.com/store/product/FD-PRDMINI-case.html
