Freezing A Fondant Cake

I would like to try a cake design with MMF on it....... I have never tried this..... If it turns out really GREAT, could I freeze it for future use ( a couple of weeks), or will the fondant break down as it thaws ?

The cake will be fine, the fondant will get gummy:
