A lady just enquired about a cake for her husband's 40th birthday. It needs to be for 100 people (wedding sized servings, as there will be lots of other food). His interests are canoeing and guitar playing. Her budget is 2.00-2.50 per serving. She said there could be 2 separate cakes, on one (maybe tiered) cake. Any ideas anyone?

Have you looked at www.thecakestore.com They have loads of great cakes. Look in the lost for ideas section, and the sport and music sections. Hope that help and good luck

I am always impressed by the guitar cakes I see on here. I would thing that it would be easy to carve one out of a 1/2 sheet cake, torted and filled. Then you could possibly encorpate a lake scene with a canoe for the second cake (since she doesnt mind 2 cakes).
