Hi

I make my TT cakes with round pans. Two layers. I would suggest a two layer 6" and a 2 layer 10". I bake my cakes, stack and cut on an angle with fishing line. Take off the piece and reverse it. This way you don't lose the cake. cut out a 6" in the top of the 10" and dowel for the six in to sit in. You can look at the ones on my website. They are in party cakes. Towards the bottom.

Good luck.
