AI am wondering how to make the snow flakes. Yes, I guess first I have to pipe every single one with royal icing, right? But how do I attach them that they get this curve? AIt looks like a paper garland, not edible material.
You might be able to get something silimar with cake lace.

If you look at the ones on the link Shanter sent, unless I'm blinder than I thought - I think that's exactly what they used. Or else they copied really well.
