I met a woman today and I told her about how I bake under the cottage food law.  She then proceeded to tell me how she can't even imagine making a profit after doing all that work and clean-up on-top of it…but in the same breath said "I would never pay THAT much for a cake" when I told her what people paid me for my cakes.  That's when I just said "well that's why cakes aren't cheap and people will pay THAT much for my cakes."  LOL  She's on my no cake for you list!  

I laugh when people think that just because I bake out of my home my cakes should cost less.  

Some people are so irritating. You drew her a picture, @Norasmom. You sketched out the process for her and some people are smart enough to learn from a sketch. But apparently this woman needs more detail. I wonder if there's a tutorial.
