My First Cake For A Real Client.

AI'm so excited, tomorrow I'm making a cake for my first real client (as in not family, friend, or friend of a friend). It's a small 3d carved dolphin. I also get to try out the new wilton alphabet molds that I bought. I think I might have low balled myself only charging $30, but it is only gonna be about 15 servings. Wish me luck, I'll post pics tomorrow. :-)
AWow, have you done a carved dolphin before? That's very ambitious, hope it works out for you, but that's way low for a carved cake. Post your creation when you're done! Good luck!
AI have not done a dolphin but I have done a transformer. I think the dolphin will be simpler. I have already hand drawn the stencils.
AI'm done, and am so happy with how it came out! :-)

Wow! looks GREAT! Make sure you start charging more. It's very difficult to raise prices once people expect cheap cake...and you have the skill to charge more, for sure.
AIt looks great and you captured that dolphin smoothness. You should definitely be proud!
Awow that's awesome -- flipper would love that
AThanks everyone. I'm still working on the pricing. There are a few home bakers in my city. I need to find out what they charge.
