Hello Bakers, I believe this is the best place to get baking questions answered. I was going to bake a cake but didn't want to use regular vanilla extract on this cake. I came across a store named Sur La Table which they have just about everything you need to have in your kitchen. I came across this Vanilla by Nielsen Massey Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Paste. Has anyone tried this & is it good and worth the 11.00 I paid for it? Thank you all for your answers in advance :-)

I love this stuff. I actually buy it at TJ Max or Marshalls and Home Goods. I think it's around $5-$6

I don't know if you have those store near you.

I get mine through Amazon Prime. I bought a quart for $31 with free delivery. I love it and can definitely taste a difference when I use it.

Love that store and love that vanilla paste.  Also really like the Scharffen Berger chocolate powder that they carry.

Just ordered some last night!

 

Absolutely love it....tried 2 other brands that didn't compare.
