What one really wants to avoid is a white floury hand print on the rump. With the popularity of black leggings and yoga pants it's a real risk, especially if you have a partner who helps you bake and he gets handsy :D

I over-analyse what to wear when I approach a new customer (I sell wholesale to cafes etc). Do I wear business attire, do I wear something that makes me look bakery like chef pants, a white apron, or do I just wear nice everyday clothes like a dress. I flip back and forwards on this one.

I pair a t-shirt and jeans with my red apron, 1970's style mulit-color hair scarf, my prescription shoes (mary janes), and my eyeglasses tipped to the end of my nose. I rock the uniform like a boss.
