I need to cake quite a few golf shaped cake pops and have the mold. But while trying they were not that great as the 2 sides didnt meet and there were gaps..any videos or suggestion on those who successfully made them?
I found this post very helpful

Thanks but I have no issues making regular cake pops..actually just made over 200 yesterday. Its specifically the golf ball shaped ones Im inquiring about.
I have the molds, but haven't had a chance to try them yet. My plan is to fill the cavities 1/2 way (maybe less), put it in the pop on the stick (do you have the CK mold with the spots for the stick?) and wipe off any excess chocolate that comes up around the edge. Chill for 1/2 hour or so then unmold and do the other side, making sure to only put a little chocolate in the cavities so there's not too much overflow.
I think this will be the key to get the pattern all the way around, I don't think the molds were meant to fit together because there are no dimples to line up (like the shoe mold, for example).
Good luck, let me know what you end up doing.
