Buttercream Trasfer Question

Is it possible to partially wrap a frozen buttercream transfer around a cake? I have a design that I would like to do in a frozen buttercream transfer on the side of an 8 inch cake but it would have to have a slight bend to it.

I've never tried it but you could probably freeze the transfer on the side of a dummy and then it will have the same curve as the side of the cake
