Freeze Dried Fruit Powders

AHas anyone used freeze dried fruit powders in buttercream frosting? Does it work well?

AI have! Freeze dried strawberries to be exact. I bought the sliced kind and powdered them myself. I have put in SMBC and marshmallow fluff/butter BC. Color was nice. Taste was great. Seeds did not bother me. I have yet to try in in cake though.....that's next.

AHas anyone tried freeze dried bananas? Wondering if they turn brown?
