Hi Everyone,

I've been on this site for quite a while, and have enjoyed and learned a lot from all the posts...now I have a question. I have a request for a fisherman cake (not a problem); however they also want the cake decorated to look like "flannel"...yes, flannel. It's a 1/2 a sheet cake, so it's kinda big to be covering in fondant which would be my 1st choice. Has anyone ever done "flannel", or do you have any suggestions?

Thanks for all the help and I think everyone does a great job here!

Mary Ann

Hello! My guess would be an edible image of the flannel colors you'd want. At least this will get your topic back at the top for more suggestions-have a good one! icon_biggrin.gif

I have a cake in my photos that is done in red and black but could be done in ay colors. I think the pattern could resemble flannel. Take a look and see what you think.

Hope you find something that will work for you!
