i am stumped, please help how d I make this cakeesign?
AThat's those little oval onlay things.....
1 - measure around your cake and work out which circle cutter size is exactly divisible 2 - cut out a few circles 3 - get the same size square cutter and lightly press into the circle, the corners of the square mark your cutting points 4 - grab your circle cutter again, the one you used before, and line it up with two of you marks cutting an oval from the 'edge' of your circle. do this 4 times per circle 5 - apply maybe a half dozen sets of 4 at a time so the don't dry out and crack on you (turn them over so you cant see the indent made by the square cutter!)
About 3 hours later
6 - pop a BC/GP/moulded Fondant rose in the middle of each circle (at a guess - the pic is tiny!)
AIt was done with the wedding ring overlay by marvelous molds. The orange could be whatever you want: royal icing flower, fondant plunger flower, etc.
