AHey everyone!! I have a question for the masses. I have been decorating cakes for a while but I have always had the time to make the cake a day in advance so storing has never been a huge problem. Well, I am in my last semester of paramedic school and while I have slowed the number of cake orders I have I still have a couple coming up. My problem is clinicals have me running with almost no free time. So how long can I store a completed cake (decorated and all) and how do I store them. Most of my cakes are buttercream with fondant characters. At this point I am looking at just needing to store for 5 days tops. On the bright side only 15 weeks left and I will be testing to become a paramedic!! Woot woot!!
