Has anyone ever had a tuxedo cake at Price Smart Foods or do you know what type of cake and filling they use to make it?

AThey have a tuxedo cake and another similar one, so I might have them confused. The way I remember it is 3 layers of vanilla sponge cake, 1 layer of cheesecake filling, 1 layer of chocolate mousse filling and topped with ganache. I'm sure they use premade commercial fillings and such, but its not hard to make something similar yourself. That and their strawberry sponge put a lot of actual bakeries to shame, I used to love getting them!

AHi. I just saw this post - it popped up on the recent posts cause of the spam. Thought I'd share this...Google Mennonite Girls Can Cook tuxedo cake. I make this cake modified slightly - chocolate cake only and add stabilized whip cream and strawberries on top - for DH on his birthday. It is a huge hit.
