Making Friends Wedding Cake Have A Question?

AI have begun working with modeling choc. But never colored them...also need help in how to get the pedals a little bit thinner without them breaking...thank you
I have included a photo of the cake I made at Christmas for ref. Of the roses I will be doing but in soft pale pink and dark ivory...

hmm, pale pink is a maybe for chocolate--it's not really white--so you'd get a soft peach if you're going pale--but maybe it could be dusted pink--idk--either someone who uses it all the time will chime in or you need to test this right away so you can be sure--dark ivory is no problem
but the candy coating available at the grocery store is whiter than chocolate--so there's that too--
for thinner petals--roll it out nice & thin and rest your formed petals in spoons to cool off--when they firm up some you can assemble

WickedGoodies would be your best bet for answering questions on modeling chocolate. Just google her. She is in Massachusetts

Oh yeah! check out her website and enjoy! Your modeling chocolate roses already look great. I wouldn't sprinkle anything on them, they are too pretty to hide.
