AWhat are your favorite truffle/chocolate molds. Do you recommend the magnetic ones? I don't want to use the transfer sheets so I don't believe I need those. What are your thoughts. I want good quality but decent price. Tis

I use the professional polycarbonate molds. Sites to look are Chef Rubber (a little overpriced), Tomric, Chocolat-Chocolat (Montreal, so there is the exchange factor), Kereke's, JB Prince.  All these sell the molds.  Just have to dig for the place with the best price.  Most range from $20-35 each.  The magnetic's can be about $50-65, depending.

thank you so much!,  is there a benefit to the magnetic molds besides using the transfer sheets?

ANot really. That's the main thing they are used for. They generally only have 15-18 cavities (depending on size), the others from 28-32. So, you get more pieces per. And there is the higher cost to consider as well. If you don't plan on transfer sheets, I wouldn't bother.
