AI remember that only time I decided to make black fondant from scratch and I didnt even had brown fondant to start with..I melted the marshmallow and colored it before adding the p/s I remember adding black, lemon and red give you dark black its mentioned also in wilton coloring guide..it turned out black but required lots of adjustments and it tend to darken more when left for a while
