AHi everyone,

I was wondering how can I achieve this metallic silver on this cake. I am actually in love with this kind of cake and would like to make for my anniversary.

It's luster dust brushed on with a large soft brush. It's a mix of luster and vodka, or some other fast drying liquid. I'm sure someone has a proper link to explain better, but that's about it.

And I don't see silver, I see Super pearl, or plain pearl. There is also a technique with actual silver leaf as well, and that can be found by googling "silver leaf on cake tutorial"

I did the tier in my avatar picture using Luck's Airbrush in Silver, then I dusted some of Wilton's pearl shimmer on top. I used a large flat brush to paint it on then I let it dry and applied another coat. I'm by no means an expert so maybe someone else will have a better recommendation.
