AI have been doing cake and cupcakes for a few tears now and I really want to try cake pops without using a mold pan. Does anyone have any good easy and inexpensive recipes you can share?

I don't have any advice, just wanted to comment on how your typo fits with the way caking goes some days.

I never used a mold maybe you mean once you have to freeze them?

I just make one 8" cake and crumble. Take bag of oreos and scoop off the white stuff. Mix and let sit at least 3 hours or overnight. Then scoop out. Or instead of the oreos sub frosting as follows.

 1 8inch cake

14oz frosting if you use the can then its 3/4 the container

14oz wafers for coating

Place balls on wax paper place baking tray in freezer for at least 2 hours.

This was shared to me by someone who sells them. I only make them at holidays to give away. It all depends on your cake recipe. The first is to DIE for.

combos

german chocolate cake/ coconut pecan frosting/ milk or dark chocolate

dark chocolate cake/fudge frosting/dark chocolate

Lemon cake/ lemon frosting/ white chocolate

Pumpkin cake/ cream cheese frosting/ milk or dark chocolate

Spice Cake/ cream cheese frosting/ white chocolate

Red Velvet/ Cream Cheese or vanilla frosting/ white chocolate

Chocolate Cake/ chocolate frosting/ peanut butter wafers.
