I am up to my elbows in competition work and it always seems to be the way that you never have the right book or picture ti answer a question .
i am making stargazers - are the underside of the petals coloured or not? i have looked at so many picture on google but can't see.

The ones with the pink right?
This image has the underneath of the petal looking a little like the top, with a green vein running down it.

that is so helpfull - thanks - had not realised about the central vein on the underside. great find on the picture BTW!
