A friend of a friend was contacted by the king of shoes Louboutin over a shoe she had made - now she makes the shoes but doesn't put the logo in or she changes the spelling.
Refraining from using a copyrighted logo without permission makes sense, but I would not recommend using a company's name with a slight misspelling. If the copyrighted element is still recognizable, it's infringement, and it may be even worse since you obviously knew there was an issue and tried to circumvent it. This is the same reason why you can't color Mickey Mouse blue, call him Rickey Rouse, and think you've successfully bested the Disney corporation.
ALooool @ Godot!!! You kill me every. Single. Time!!!
