I put yellows stars to fill it on... Not sure I like it anymore... Should I scrape it off and do white? Or keep this?

I like the yellow, but not in buttercream.  Maybe try yellow fondant under it?  Or a smooth yellow buttercream?  The stars are kind of distracting for me.

AEh, normally my OCD for smooth and uniform surface would have my eye twitching at the sight of that, but I think in this case it looks good. A contrast to the flat painting, in a good way. Two thumbs up!

My parents would be tickled to get that Cake.  They love Maxine !!! and if you know Maxine, the bigger and brighter and more in your face the better.  It's perfect, trust your judgment, I'll bet the recipient of the cake gets a big kick out of it.

ANot a color I would normally go with but I agree with MB. After all Maxine is out there.
