AI am using black bamboo sticks from the floral department of a craft store. I know that they need to be washed beforehand and that the part that will be inserted into the cake needs to be wrapped. Other than that, is there anything I need to do to make them food safe?
Also, can the peacock feathers sold in floral departments be used in a cake as well?
