So I am very new to baking! I will be taking a class next month but was looking to get a hang of things before I start! What are things that you found valuable when you first started. What are you favorite made from scratch recipies?!? EtC...
Welcome to CC. We are happy to answer particular questions. It is a good idea for you to wander around in the site to familiarize yourself with the parts of the site (galleries, recipes, tutorials, etc.), read some forums to see how people post (play nice, disagreements are okay but don't attack someone, try to use readable English rthr thn txt spk). :-)
Use the Search box at the top of the page to see what information is already here. Settle in and "digest" the culture of the site so you feel at home.
Welcome!! Best way to figure things out is to search around. My most used tip so far is how to get my buttercream smooth enough to look almost like fondant. There is a thread on here with everyone's favorite tips. Keep them written down if you think you'll forget. I have a Word document with almost 90 of them. haha.
