I belong to a neighborhood Bunco group. (It's a dice game that meets every month) Our theme for this month is Luau. I told the host that I would make a hula girl cake. I was going to make it with pina colada cake, but didn't know if there was a better cake that is more "tropical". I searched through the recipes but none jumped out to me as tropical. Do any of you have any suggestions? It doesn't matter if it's non-alcoholic or alcoholic, just something that is more on the tropical side. BTW, these girls will eat just about anything...
I am in the process of making a Passionfruit mudcake with a coconut white chocolate ganache . The piece that I tried when I leveled it tasted good with the ganache .
