Any ideas on how the script is put onto the sides of this cake? I have searched for the original designer and am not coming up with anything. My thought is some sort of stamp with gel colors on it. Any suggestions would be helpful, I have a bride requesting something similar and I want to be sure I can accomplish this design. Thanks in adavnce!

AI think I've seen a similar (if not the exact same) stamp at Michaels.

Do you think my idea would work? I am heading there today and will look for it.

ADon't out the colors on too thick and it should work just fine :)

ATest it on paper or a scrap piece of fondant before stamping the cake. The side of a cake pan would be great to get a feel for stamping a curved surface.

AIt is a beautiful cake. It looks like they've overlapped the stamp in a couple of places and didn't quite get the full stamp in other places so I wouldn't worry too much about making it perfect. Have fun with it!
