yes I find  it creepy too (but not quite much as those pregnant belly cakes with a foot imprint on them).

I just saw an ad for them on TV a minute ago and I was thinking ewwww they are creepy, then I came in here and saw this topic.

YES! I'm so glad my daughter was never into it because I would probably not want it in my house lol

Those are a bit creepy as well, but not as bad as the baby cakes.

ha well hey if she loves it ... I'm just thankful my kids never liked lalaloopsy or teletubbies! they are more bubble guppies, dora, team umi zoomi kids :)

That video cutting the baby cake is horrible, horrible, horrible....eeeeek I could not watch it...had to hit stop as soon as I saw him hovering with the knife.  

 

I think it is the eyes with the Lalaloopsy dolls - the buttons are a bit off being black - I think they would look better as a colour....that being said, I like them.....I think they are cute with their bright coloured hair and their pretty dresses....lol see is takes all types ;)  My daughter wants a lalaloopsy party for her next party.  Actually I am working on a lalaloopsy cake right now.  Each to their own I suppose :)

Nothing quite like giving the baby a lobotomy.  That video is a good case in point for not doing cakes of real people.

The lalaloopsy look like they come from a beginners doll making class where they don't want to tax the participants too much.  Or should I say at all.

Yea i think its the eyes more than anything. It reminds me of a creepy voodoo doll or something. Wish it had real eyes then maybe I would not be so weirded out by it.

To be honest a lot of dolls creep me out. I don't like those porcelain dolls either.. the ones with the serious facial expressions.
