Are you sure this is the right link? I get a forum thread on "Ace of Cakes" ... maybe I'm missing something? I was going to check and see if the article is the same way I do my cake collars before I go to the trouble ...

Nice of you to let us know there is already an article here ... I don't generally look at those unless I'm looking for something specific I need to learn.

I too love the baking strips ... I soak mine while I'm preparing the cake batter ... I usually use them for pans 10" or above along with the flower nail in the center ... it's always works beautifully for me .. now my strips are getting much older and have a brown shade to them on the inside, but that hasnt' stopped them from working ... I never bake w/o them.
