AHi I am making a skatepark themed cake and was going to use florist wire for the grind rail (don't know if that's the proper name for it lol) don't like the idea of inserting wire straight into the cake can I insert these into cake then the wire into them [IMG]http://cakecentral.com/content/type/61/id/3008290/width/200/height/400[/IMG]

Florist wire is definitely NOT "Good Eats."
It seems to me that the steel skewers out of a turkey lacing kit should be perfectly food-safe, and so should wire made for orthodontic work.
But other than that, there is a pinned topic all about sticking wires in cakes.
