I just had to share that I got my first magic line pan yesterday evening and I am making a cake in today. I went to check on it and it looks so good! Even, flat it was so worth the money! I am thinking about trading in ALL my baking pans for Magic Line pans! It was love at first sight! Sorry I just had to share!

I have slowly been replacing my pans with magic line. Of course I still need a lot more, but they are so worth it. My sister asked me why they were so expensive, I baked a cake for her one layer in a reg. pan the other in the ML. I greased and floured the same way, same batch of mix when I took them out of the oven she could see a difference right away. She was so surprised at how much better the cake in the ML pan looked. She went out and bought me a new pan to add to my collection!

I was wondering has anyone bought any of the ML pans used? I have been looking at a few on ebay and wanted to see what people have to say about buying them used.

Cooks Illustrated magazine just tested numerous plans. ML came out on top; they slammed Wilton's.

I'm expecting my first magic line pans to come UPS today and I am so excited! I got the 9x13x2 and the 10x2 round to start out with! CountryKitchensa.com has the best deal, some are even cheaper than wiltons! I would have bought them from the CC Store, but they didn't have what the sizes I wanted in stock, unfortunatly.
I can't wait to bake my first cakes in them and hopefully sell all my wilton pans on ebay and switch to ML pans! I hope the UPS man doesn't do me wrong today ahah! icon_smile.gif

Just curious, does anyone NOT like ML pans?

mOuse, these pans are made of a superior quality metal with straight sides. All you have to do is lift one to feel the difference. These are lifetime pans. They do not warp. They cook a better looking cake whether it is round or square or rectangle, etc. You can get them in 2" or 3" heights also. The old saying holds true, "You get what you pay for". Hobby Lobby and Michaels do not sell them as far as I know, but CC does and they have sales on them. Grab one and you will not regret it.

I wonder my dad is a resturant supply sales manager if he could get me these at his cost. Where do you purchase them?

Just wanted to add that my pans came yesterday and I whipped up a quick sheet cake. The corners were FANTASTIC, and I am looking forward to a long, loving relationship with my new pans. icon_smile.gif
