I need to get a custom cut platform for a Millennium Falcon Cake.  What do you all recommend I get it cut out of and where??

Also, I'd like to set the platform at a slight slant so it looks like the ship is in flight but how do I secure it and what about the cake sliding off?

Anyone every do any thing like this?  What is the going price for these cakes?

Can you describe what you're imagining the platform will look like?

High/low, bigger than the cake, smaller than the cake etc.

Like the shape of the space ship.  The ship isn't really round but it's "diameter" would be around 14".  It is obviously a custom shape and I would need someone to cut it out for me with some sort of electric saw I imagine.

From the table to the cake, maybe 5"- 6" off the table?

You could cut the board out of plywood, or out of foam core and cover them wsith something food safe.

I'd make a wedge of styrofoam to get the board higher and cover it the same as your base board so it blends in. Maybe 6 inches across?
