I like the taste of the whipped frostings.  The last icing I made tasted great, but was harder to make perfect swirls on top of the cupcakes.  It seemed pretty thin, not as think as other frostings.  Any tips or recipes for a good whipped frosting?

Thanks!!

You could try stabilizing the recipe you already have. You can do it by mixing Knox Gelatin and water and letting it set. Mix up your whipped frosting. Add a little of it to the gelatin so that it won't glob up the frosting. Then add all of that to the frosting. It won't affect the taste at all. I have also used a little meringue powder to help it set.

AI heard a sweet wise instructor say to use clear piping gel to make it more firm
