Strawberry Buttercream

Does anyone have a good recipe for strawberry buttercream for a fondant cake?? I was thinking of buying a starberry jam and mixing it with buttercream but I wanted to know if anyone had any better ideas before I did that.

i add lorann oils to my buttercream to get the desired flavor. I have a strawberry oil that is awesome and it doesn't take much at all to flavor it.

I just mix in some of the strawberry filling that I had on hand with some buttercream...no real measurements!

what do you mean when you say strawberry filling?? Like jam??or fresh strawberries??

I use the strawberry filling that comes in the 2# sleeves (it's just called filling) but I would think the strawberry preserves would serve the same purpose.
